35-year-old Government bank employee found dead in Chetla Hotel

The body of Samana Mandal, a 35-year-old government bank employee, was discovered in a hotel room in Chetla under tragic circumstances. Police suspect that she ended her life by consuming poison.

According to hotel staff, Mandal had checked into the hotel but did not have dinner the previous night. When she failed to respond during check-out time the following morning, staff alerted the police. Upon entering her room, officers found her lying unconscious.

An investigation is underway to confirm the cause of death and ascertain the events leading up to this incident. Authorities are also awaiting the post-mortem report to determine whether foul play was involved or if it was indeed a case of suicide.
